We spent Labor Day with my Dad, Melanie, Ben and their kids at Sky Top Orchard in NC. We had a lot of fun picking apples, looking at animals and eating apple doughnuts!
It's so nice to live close to family and have all of our kids grow up together. That night Caroline spent the night at our house. The girls LOVE having their "big" cousin sleep over. Whenever Caroline spends the night, I take the girls to the store and let them pick out a craft (this time they painted bird houses and we decorate shirts with iron-on rhinestones). Then I make a big pallet on their bedroom floor and after a few minutes of giggling, they usually fall fast asleep. The next day we all went to the zoo together. We had a great time.
